To all readers of this blog. I've decided to open this blog for public comment. To access the blog use the comment button at the bottom of the post. You will need to wait one day before posting as well as verify and open a gmail account before commenting, googles rules not mine!. I must admit to being a control freak and checking all emails but not altering them in any way before posting. I'm willing to trial this open blog to comment to promote a discussion forum with quicker response times. If any of our readers have search tips, techniques or links to similar sites send them in.
regards

A central area where facts, theories, questions and experiences related to the search for the Cessna 210M known simply as VH-MDX which disappeared on 9th August 1981 while traversing the Barrington Tops NSW, can be exchanged. On board were the pilot Michael Hutchins and passengers Ken Price, Noel Wildash, Rhett Bosler and Philip Pembroke. No trace of that aircraft has ever been found. Please note the purpose of this blog as described above. Any other material or comments may be removed.
Hi! 1600ft/min accounts to 9km or 5nm from Stanford/Craven @5000ft heading east, actual wind was 240@30 to 40kts. whats needed is a hand held or aircraft mounted radar or simular device with a signal that can penetrate the bush to pick out metal traces. The area is in a military flight control zone & we were buzzed by an F18 when there last. Rob Campbell
